I have been posting reviews (example 1, 2, 3) of the Austin Lyric Opera for several years. Am I the only opera critic in Austin?
I would guess many of you could do this and would have fun doing so. To make it easy, I have 2 free tickets for one of this weekend's performances of "Viva L'Opera" from the Texas Choral Consort. The performances at Northwest Hills United Methodist Church are Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3 pm.
Be as candid as you like. You can use a "nomme de plume" if you are concerned. Just contact me at patjdixon@earthlink.net and then make sure you have an account on AustinPost.org. After the concert, post your review here (preferably within a week).
I won't bias you by telling you how great a concert it will be; you get to decide that matter. However, I do suggest giving kind treatment to the red headed tenor.
